Kevin Tarte is back – as Graf von Krolock in Tanz der Vampire!

Kevin Tarte is back – in one of his greatest roles ever: The mysterious Graf von Krolock in the musical „Tanz der Vampire“ (Dance of the Vampires – the musical remake of Roman Polanski’s 1967 film „The Fearless Vampire Killers). To announce his upcoming performance this year in December in Hamburg, we did a fun little movie (with Kevin singing spontaneously acapella on the spot!) going a bit back to the total roots inspired by the good ol’ 1922 Nosferatu movie. Kevin had been playing the role of the Graf von Krolock ever since March 2000 and remembers when they did the rehearsing and shows back then that Roman Polanski always talked about the Nosferatu film, especially in the „Gott is tot“ number with the shadows in the front and that this is part of the mythology and the whole mythos of vampires.

If you haven’t bought tickets already, do yourself a huge favor and go see the one and only Kevin Tarte in Hamburg – believe me, you won’t regret it!

And those of you who aren’t vampires, enjoy the sunny weekend, everyone! 🙂
