Happy New Year, everyone!
I like this time of the year when everything and everywhere it’s kind of „quiet“ and you get a chance to sit down and reflect of what made you happy, what worked and what didn’t last year. Although all the new year-new you thing sounds a bit cliche, there is power and magic in new beginnings.
Interestingly, the older you get, the smaller your wish list becomes. After this crazy December with Juliana being sick almost a month, and then her brother Nicolas being sick over Christmas …. I „only“ wish for health and happiness.
After two cappuccinos and lots of reflecting, I came up with these „intentions“ for the new year:
Don’t take like too seriously, and have more fun.
Let things flow, don’t force anything.
Invest in your health – emotionally and physically.
Invest in the people who invest in you.
Avoid time wasters.
More time offline.
Be present and slow down.
Work smarter, not harder.
Care less what people think.
Be grateful everyday.
Spend more time with family and friends.
Have a great start into this year – healthy and happy!
